Scientist research task
Choose a famous scientist and write a short biography on them in the style of a social media page!
When was their birthday? Where did they go to school? Where did they work? What were their main discoveries? Did they have a spouse or children? What do you think their proudest achievements would have been that they might have posted about?
Safety task
Before we do experiments we have to do a risk assessment - what is that?
look at the picture and pick out the pupils who are not being safe.
What are they doing wrong? What should they do instead?
Write a list of rules that you think people should stick to in a science lab.
Practical task
Have a look at some of the experiments which can be done at home!
It is very important that you have permission from your parents/carers.
